Cauzillo Plumbing is seeking a motivated and hard-working new team member to join our family business. This position performs both residential and commercial plumbing work throughout Metro-Detroit.

 

What You'll Do:

Commercial and residential plumbing, working independently and in collaboration with the Mater Plumbers. Job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, replace, and repair a wide variety of residential plumbing issues.

  • Perform residential and commercial plumbing repairs and installations.

  • Complete sewer, drain, water heater, fixture, leak, and water line repairs and installations.

  • Perform plumbing system inspections and preventative maintenance.

  • Work independently while collaborating with Master Plumbers and supervisors as needed.

  • Present repair and replacement options to homeowners.

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor on every job.

  • Ensure all work complies with applicable Michigan plumbing codes.

  • Maintain accurate job documentation and complete required paperwork.

  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and parts inventory.

  • Follow company procedures and safety standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Master Plumbers or supervisors, including shop maintenance and duties.

What You Have:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing residential plumbing systems; OR comparable experience in construction, commercial applicabilities, or adjacent trades.

  • Current plumber apprenticeship registration or Journeyman Plumber License

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.

  • Knowledge of applicable Michigan plumbing codes.

  • Ability to independently diagnose and repair plumbing systems.

  • Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours per week).

Work Environment and Schedule:

  • Field-based position. Primarily working at residential and commercial customer locations. 

  • Frequent travel throughout Metro Detroit, primarily Wayne County, with occasional work in Oakland and Macomb counties.

  • Full-time (40 hours per week)

    • Flexible hours – early or late. Typically 8-10 hour shifts.

  • Physically able to lift heavy objects
